Section 3
pricing & Payment
All prices listed are in USD.
Price estimates are not binding as prices are subject to change.
Pricing for variable or ranged pricing is determined in tandem by design and composition complexity.
For items with variable pricing that the price of additional content is dependent on, the variable price is determined by the most complex subject.
All payments shall be made via Paypal invoice.
Payment is taken in advance, due upon receipt of the invoice.
Payment must be made by the client, not a third party individual.
Work will not begin until full payment is received. For orders placed with payment plans, work will not begin until the initial deposit is paid, and the completed work will not be delivered until the invoice is paid in full.
If payment is not received within 3 days of invoicing, any commission agreement is void and the artist will have no obligation towards the client, and vice versa.
Payment Plans are available for artworks priced $200 USD or more, involving a 50% nonrefundable initial deposit, with the remainder paid in two installments over a set period. Details of the plan must be agreed upon with the artist prior to invoicing, and the invoice paid in full before the artwork will be delivered.
Clients may incur fees, priced per-request with payment due immediately, for requests that fall outside standard commission service, add excessive complexity, or introduce information not specified in the original order.
While it is uncommon to incur fees at all, the artist will warn if a client's request will incur a fee.Fees incurred by revisions implemented into the artwork at any point will not be waived or refunded, even if later altered, undone, or absent from the final artwork.Percent fees are based on the art type's main price (or on the low end of the price range if the art type is priced with a range) rounded up to the nearest dollar.
Fees may increase the total price of an art type past a listed range cap.
Simple Props and Background Elements
Simple Props
Simple Props are considered small or one-handed items with simple or nonspecific designs. Examples include bouquets/flowers, handguns, pocket watches, kitchen or hunting knives, magic staves, books, mugs, teacups, hand fans, controllers, phones, small instruments like panflutes or recorders, skateboards with simple deck designs, etc.

Which props are considered simple is determined by the artist. Complex props will incur fees.
Complex Designs

30% fee [applied once per design] for designs where only 1–2 significant traits are considered complex. Example traits include intricate tattoo sleeves, large wings, many delicate accessories, etc.

15–30% fee per small to medium complex prop such as furniture, bows or ornate weapons, detailed instruments like guitars, etc.
50% fee per large complex prop such as vehicle props (cars, motorcycles, etc.)
Minimum 50% fee per complex background element such as crowds of secondary undesigned subjects, or detailed ornamental borders/frames.
